Football Superheroes - motion comics
Last year I teamed up again with Fandom, the NFL and Dystnct media to create short motion comics to run in social media before iconic football matches (season 2018 / 2019).
This series of shorts rendered homage to classic characters from Thor or Deadpool to Dr. Strange, while featuring some of the most charismatic players in the league at that moment.
I storyboarded their script into simple comic panels, drew all the characters and broke down the layers for Dytinct Media to do the animation. Below goes a collage of my favourite moments, the entire series of videos can be found separately at the fandom site with a stunning voice-over ( clips were dubbed to Spanish and German for promotion of the games in Mexico and Germany too).
